Shane Charles Halloran

Born July 9th, 1996 | Lives on forever in our hearts

Shane was born in Elmhurst, IL, grew up in Center Valley, PA, and lived out the rest of his years in Utah. He was a passionate skier, a loyal friend to all, an amazing brother and beloved son. Skiing was essentially what dictated the course of his life. He skied for the first time in Pennsylvania at a resort called Bear Creek, skied out west for the first time while visiting his Uncle Juan out in Vail, and skied out in Utah for the first time while in high school, right around the time he needed to start thinking about college. He loved being in Utah so much that the University of Utah was the only college he applied to. Once accepted, he went and almost never looked back. He loved his PA friends & family so much that he would drive all the way back most summers throughout college. Stopping in Colorado to see Uncle Juan, Aunt Maggie, and his cousins Burke & Annie.

Chicago, to see a plethora of Halloran aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.

And finally landing in Pennsylvania where he would reunite with sister, parents, bonus parents, grandparents, and more aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Arguably, one of his top priorities when returning to Pennsylvania was seeing his friends. If any of you guys are reading this, he loved you all so much and always had a blast coming back to visit.

Shane loved all of these people and places so much, but returning back to Utah was never difficult for him. Utah was his happy place. He could ski when he wanted to (yes, even in the summer he found a way) and spend all his time with his best buddies, including his two bonus brothers, Nick & TJ. Utah had become his home. To all his Utah buddies (that includes you folks at the restaurant he worked at, The Porcupine), thank you for making his last years so incredible.

Unfortunately, Shane’s life was cut short at the age of 25 on August 1, 2021.

This was a very random, “wrong place, wrong time,” accident that sadly resulted in the tragic loss of Shane.

Shane was and still is loved by so many, and he had a lot of love to give back. His mission in life was to make everyone happy and to have a good time, including himself. Whether you are a family member, a long time friend, or a random person on the mountain, he wanted you to enjoy life like he did. In fact, he still wants you to. We hope you feel his spirit with you every time you put your ski boots on, watch the sky go from day to dark, and every time you #SENDIT4SHANE.

We love you all and miss Shane terribly. We promise to honor him every step of the way.

Peace, Love, Send
